2026 Fall Show Prep
Sign-ups CLOSED
Show Synopsis:We are connected by invisible threads.
Some pull us closer. Some stretch until they nearly break. Some become tangled, while others quietly disappear. THREADED explores the fragile and powerful ways we move toward—and away from—one another.
Through aerial and movement, we explore our current existence where connection is never guaranteed. We reach, hold, release, collide, and separate. We no longer see each other's handwriting, we look at screens instead of into each other's eyes. Moments of isolation give way to community; belonging emerges, fractures, and is found again. Each performer carries their own weight, yet none of us exists entirely alone.
What happens when the thread between us is stretched to its limit? What happens when we let go? And what might we discover when we reach out again?
A study on isolation, belonging, vulnerability, and the human need to be seen, Threaded asks us to consider the invisible ties that hold us together—and the spaces that exist between us.
Because sometimes, all it takes is one person reaching out to remind us that we are not alone.
About:
It's that time of year again for our fall show! We are super excited to share all the details for this upcoming production. As always, we try to reflect on our past shows and keep what works and continue to improve.
This year's theme is about connection/community, titled TBD but right now we are calling it THREADED. The dates for this year's shows are the evenings of November 20, 21, and 22 (yes, a Sunday show!). Tentative rehearsal dates are evenings of November 18 and 19 (def the 19th), to split up the dress into two dates so they're not as long. Please make sure you are able to commit to all of these dates.
Prep students will be eligible for 1 free open gym a week to work on acts ONLY. If you want to work on your own training please let us know.
How Sign-ups Work:
Sign-ups for this year's show will be similar to last year's. Classes will be released onto Mindbody with enrollment on a first come, first serve, Level, and Current student status Basis.
Signing up is UNPAID!You will only be charged for enrollment once we have confirmed your spot.
We will list prerequisites and act levels, but this is an intermediate/advanced show, so most acts will need to have students at a level 2 or higher with maybe one exception. READ CLASS DESCRIPTIONS!
There is anywhere between 4-7 available spots per act; it will be heavily influenced on what other classes are running alongside them the following session. Please note that these prep classes will show more spots than may actually be available! Because of this, you will be allowed to sign up for a maximum of two prep classes, should spots run out of one, then there is a likelihood of getting a spot in your second choice. A staff member will reach out to you shortly after to confirm. It is going to be FREE to sign up, payment will be charged to your card on file on Sunday August 23rd, or when you confirm your group. If you need a payment plan we can do a plan to break up the cost into 3 payments, the first due upon enrollment and then 1 month from that date.
For those who want to participate in this year’s show with lower stakes, a new idea we would like to try out this year is creating non-aerial transitional pieces to weave throughout the show. This will not be a paid class and entirely on a volunteer (free) basis. The goal is to meet weekly (probably during the weekend most likely Saturday afternoons but this can be scheduled once we know who is interested) to rehearse if anyone is interested.
We will have a combination of solo acts as well as group acts choreographed by coaches. The group acts and their coach are listed below, in no particular order:
1. Silks Group, choreographed by coach Jackie Wednesday 7:15-8:15pm (60 min) 12 weeks- $360
