FAQ

  • Is there a weight limit?

NO! There is no weight limit, and if any aerial studio has a weight limit you should run away from them. Weight limits mean improper rigging, under-trained coaches, or fat-phobia! Our rigging is ready to hang a car! No human body is going to break our equipment.

  • What should I wear?

You will want to wear comfortable, snug-fitting clothing that allows you to move but also keeps the backs of your knees and waist covered. Remember that you will be upside down, so if clothing is too loose, or is unable to be tucked in, you might show off more than you planned.

We do not allow any zippers, rivets, or sharp edges because they can damage our aerial silks. No long, pointed fingernails or sharp jewelry for the same reason.

  • What should I expect in my first class?

When you arrive, you do need to follow the signs to our studio that is located in middle of The Common Market Warehouse. We have cubbies for storing your personal effects, and then you can walk through the grey curtains to enter our large 3500 square foot space with 27’ ceilings. We have professionally rigged adjustable points for any aerial apparatus.

Classes begin with a 10-minute big group warm-up before separating into your class group. Students must do an active warm-up before joining class, and if students are more than 15 minutes late may not be able to join the class but can observe and take notes.

Each class will focus on a specific or rotating apparatus. See our Apparatus rotation calendar under the “sign-up” tab to see what your class is on each week.

Be ready to move, try new things, have excellent educated coaches, and have fun while working out and being creative.
